WHCU and WNYY are now available in the high-quality format of Hybrid Digital (or HD!) The stations can be heard day or night anywhere you can pick up the new strong signal of WQNY-HD at 103.7 You must have an HD radio ...which can be purcahsed for under $40 dollars in town.
The HD radio tunes into 103.7 and automatically to WQNY HD-1 (Q Country), and then you go to WQNY HD2 to listen to Progressive Talk 1470, or WQNY HD3 to listen to News/Talk 870 WHCU. You can pick up both stations in places now where neither could be heard at night—as far away as Syracuse, Rochester, and Binghamton!!
