Tuesday, November 3, 2009 Today’s Apple for the Teacher Award recipient is Daisy Sweet formally from Enfield Elementary School nominated by Karen Sullivan and many more.
We would like to nominate Daisy Sweet for the Apple for the Teacher Award. Daisy is a retired school teacher from the Enfield Elementary School where she taught for many years. She also taught for a number of years at the Caroline Elementary School. She now tutors for the Ithaca City School district and other school district for children who need extra studying or who are just in need. She always gives 110 percent to anything that is asked of her. She belongs to the Senior Citizens, Life Long, a member of the Cayuga Chimes and a volunteer for the "Read to Me" program for children.
