Today’s Apple for the Teacher Award recipient is Scott Moseley from Newfield Elementary School nominated by Mr. Moseley, Mrs. Down and Mrs. Wall’s 4th grade reading blocks (they worked on their nomination when Mr. Moseley was out) The 3 classes do a lot together which is why they wanted to do it as a group. This nomination is also accompanied with pictures.
Mr. Moseley is an amazing teacher and person. He is really enthusiastic about teaching and makes learning fun. He helped us experience an Iditarod by creating a track in the hallway for us to follow with our dog sled teams. During class he helped us build a ship for our Columbus unit and encouraged us to use teamwork to sail it. He has a lot of patience.
He has taught in Newfield for over 20 years in positions such as: 6th grade science, 5th grade, Kindergarten, and now he teaches Pre-K and 4th grade reading.
Mr. Moseley is active in his community as well.
He has helped people with their houses and some families with their relationships. He has officiated marriages and funerals of our families.
Thank you for your consideration.
